An Editor plays a key role in process of Open access publishing at Laurin Publishers. Our Editorial board consists of Editors who are expertise in their respective fields.

Here are a few guidelines which that ensure every editor follow a fair and transparent process in academic publishing.
  • Editors are responsible for journal growth and development by maintaining a positive relationship with each other and the journal editorial team.
  • Evaluating manuscripts and suggesting any modifications required to meet the standards of online publications.
  • Should perform a fair and transparent peer review process.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of the literature they receive until publication.
  • Check for the quality of manuscripts, and if satisfactory, give consent to proceed with publication.
  • If an article is rejected, the editor must explain the reasons for rejection.
  • Promote the journal within their professional network and at conferences to increase its visibility and reach.
  • Promote ethical standards in research and publication, including adherence to guidelines on authorship, conflict of interest, and research integrity.
  • Stay updated on trends and changes in academic publishing, including open access, data transparency, and new research methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the editor-in-chief and other board members to shape the journal’s direction and policies.
  • If any misconduct or misuse of rules or data is identified, the editor can delay the visibility of the published or unpublished manuscript until the issue is resolved.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest and ensure transparency in your role on the editorial board.
  • Ensure that submitted manuscripts meet approved ethical guidelines.
